Electric Guitar and Bass Guitar Manufacturer, Made in the USA by U.S. Masters Guitar Works
Regenberg Set-Neck Guitar Features

Our basic guiding principle: Improve the structure and design of the set-neck guitar so it delivers a better quality of sound and plays better than existing, highly regarded guitars that had previously set the standard for excellence.

The result: extended frequency response, expanded dynamic range, a broader range of tone and harmonics, more resonance in the body, more even response across the entire range of the guitar, longer sustain, stronger attack, improved damping, clearer tone, better articulation, and a more expressive, responsive feel. The action can be made lower, the neck lays out flatter and the guitar will stay in tune better, even as the concert stage heats up throughout the night's performance.

Our proprietary MapleCore Neck Structure gives you the strength, tone, rigidity and stability of quatersawn hard (rock) maple while the mahogany skin provides the appearance and finish to match the body. Our proprietary use of Linear Carbon Fiber for neck reinforcement provides additional strength and stability. We've contoured the flex of the 2-way adjustable truss rod so the Neck Relief Profile makes the adjustment to the first few frets, leaving the neck flat up to (approximately) the 9th fret. The gives you a more uniform action height along the entire neck and you can have a lower action, all of which contributes to a better playing, better feeling guitar.

U.S. Masters has taken the V and Set-neck guitars to a new level, applying our advanced design principles along with additional innovations to achieve sound quality and performance that truly set this guitar apart. This is a full-size V with sleek, long legs and a neck joint that allows access to the entire fingerboard without the heel or body getting in the way. The output jack is in the upper leg - far more functional for running either cable or wireless. Available in a wide variety of options.

We've made set-necks with different neck woods. The neck that stood out the most was made from maple. The low end and classic "set-neck" warmth remained but when you got more aggressive with picking, the guitar had more attack and bite in the high end. Plus the neck had a real nice feel, solid and for a lack of a better way to term it, "instrumental feeling". The neck was also more resistant to bending out of tune like a standard mahogany neck. All of this we liked. However, we didn't like the look as much. The transition from the mahogany body to the maple neck did not look as good as mahogany to mahogany under the nice trasparent finishes. It lost the classic look. The solution was simple. Replace the heart of the mahogany neck with quartersawn maple and leave the visible "skin" as mahogany. The maple extends from the tip of the heel to the tip of the headstock, under the faceplate. We call this our MapleCore Neck. All the benefits with the classic look.
Our MapleCore neck structure: Quartersawn hard (rock) maple with a thin outer shell
(or skin) of mahogany for appearance, to match the body of the guitar.

• Linear carbon fiber reinforcement of the neck

• 2-way truss rod with a controlled flex contour so the adjustment occurs at the first
few frets rather to provide a lower, more uniform action

Interlocking Set-Neck Joint for improved coupling of neck to body and structural integrity

• 24-3/4" scale U.S. Masters acclaimed Extended Uniform  Neck Profile provides the
same neck contour for the complete range of the fingerboard and provides for more
efficient and intuitive playing with players reporting improvements in  technique
  and reduced fatigue.
