This information is from the site of a major online retailer. Sam Ash as
of April, 2010. Specs and pricing may have changed from this date. We have
always had great respect for Fender but want to highlight some of the advantages
we can feel we can give you. Fender & Stratocaster are trademarks of Fender. To the right are some comparisons between similar models of guitars. In our opinion we can give you more guitar with more options and the ability to customize the guitar toward your liking. All at a great price. |
The
New Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster *** List: $2,099.99 Sell: $1549.99 New: Compound Radius New: Beveled Heel
|
The
U.S. Masters LeGrand Legend List: $2,220.00 Sell: $1,695.00 Have always had: Conical Radius Have always had: Beveled Heel AND, a smaller heel for better upper fret access AND, a patented no-shift neck joint AND, a compression set neck joint for a better mating to the body Pickups: Noiseless AND, for less you can get the standard vintage pickups or you have other options Tuning Machines: USA Made Sperzel Staggered Locking Bridge: Point Classic Non-Locking Floating Tremolo Here is a BIG DIFFERENCE. The Point is a far superior tremolo to the 6-screw and similar tremolos like the synchronized which are fine if you use the tremolo sparingly, which most do. If tremolo use is not that important you should save some money and get the standard LeGrand. If tremolo use is important you should get the Point. This is an excellent tremolo from all aspects of quality of materials, super smooth feel and the feel of the saddles. It does stay in tune. It is an excellent, superior, design especially with our straight through the nut string geometry and no string trees. Hardshell: Included AND we set up the instrument for you!!!! AND we have a list of more options!!!! |

| "Right
out of the box we plugged it into my Matchless and started recording. The
tone was killer. Beefy lows and searing high end and tons of tone combinations
with the push pull pots. The neck played great right up to the body, a tribute
to the smooth neck joint. Everyone was really impressed. I have produced
a lot of great guitar players including Jimmy Olander, Ray Kennedy, Steve
Wariner, Lee Roy Parnell, Brent Mason and Keith Urban. Consequently I have
also listened to a lot of great guitars. My US Masters holds its own with
any instrument I have recorded in my 20 years of doing sessions" Monty Powell - Producer, Nashville, TN |
