We developed
this guitar after the Vector in response to our high level studio/live
artists who loved our Vector. They were in need of the
classic
"S-Style" look but wanted the higher performance they were getting
from their U.S. Masters over their "standard USA S-style"
guitars. The LeGrand delivers just
that with a superb feeling "players" neck, high performance
features and excellent craftsmanship.
Though some of these features are more expensive they are worth it as
it results in a guitar that plays, responds, feels, and sounds better.
Yet the LeGrand is surprisingly reasonable in price.
A top of the line "boutique" guitar does need an inflated hefty
price tag to say "I'm good". The LeGrand is a testimonial to
that.

Here is a BIG DIFFERENCE. The Point is a far superior tremolo to the 6-screw and similar tremolos like the synchronized which are fine if you use the tremolo sparingly, which most do. If tremolo use is not that important you should save some money and get the standard LeGrand. If tremolo use is important you should get the Point. This is an excellent tremolo from all aspects of quality of materials, super smooth feel and the feel of the saddles. It does stay in tune. It is an excellent, superior, design especially with our straight through the nut string geometry and no string trees.
