Good feel and comfort of the neck is the heart of a good bass and the 4D has just that. The neck is a slim design in width (1.65" at the nut) and taper (depth). Made from a true high quality hard maple, the neck is very solid and allows for a nice, low action. The slim cut and design gives you excellent upper fret access with comfort all the way up the neck.

The feel and playability of the 4D is on a high enough level, that is pleasing to even seasoned players; but a good bass should have more than feel. It should balance correctly - not be neck or body heavy. The 4D holds its position when on a strap so you don't have to fight the neck. It should stay in tune - the 4D does, with quality Wilkinson tuners and a solid neck. It also has a very nice top load bridge. And it should sound good. The 4D's solid design lets you feel the notes and is transferred through a very good sounding set of P and J pickups so you can deliver a big bottom with high end snap.

The 4D is our design based on our U.S.A. made EP Series basses, but is imported to allow for a quality bass at an excellent price.
